You can change your speaking habit that is you can learn how to pronounce the words. Whenever you have to learn something the first thing that you do is repeat again and again. But in the case of spellings it is not the right procedure.
You can experiment it. Whenever you learn a new spelling or pronounce something in a right manner and learn it by repeating again and again. The very next day you will forget the world or the spelling whatever you have learned.

Buy audio CDs from market in which sounds of different words and letters are recorded. Read books daily. Spend at least one hour in reading.
Make children learn spelling in an early age. Buy educational games for them. Spelling games is the best option. In these types of games there are different cartoon characters. These things make the spelling games interesting for children.
It is recommended that you buy learn to spell pack from internet in which every information is given on spellings. In these spell packs you will get around 500 words to learn. Choose a trusted site and buy one.
Do not get disappointed if you are taking long time to learn spellings. Just keep on practicing. It is sure that you will succeed. Keep in mind some big writers are bad spellers. If you are week in spelling it does not mean that you are not intelligent. It is the symbol of bad teaching at school.
